Beautiful lamp! A beautiful vintage or antique oil lamp Milk glass with painted seafoam green / turquoise details on the base Clear glass chimney Metal toleware shade in rusty red and gold Lovely antique eye-catcher! Working well. This oil lamp has been electrified at some point in its history, and the toleware shade has been added. You could use it as an oil lamp again by using a screw-in burner with a 1-1/8 inch thread diameter. The milk glass base is in great condition with only a tiny nick at the base (see closeup) and some loss to the seafoam green / turquoise paint at the bottom. The metal shade has some light wear and small marks, but nothing that takes away from the beauty of the lamp. The clear glass chimney has no chips or cracks. The lamp uses one standard base light bulb up to 60 watts or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. Light bulb not included. The cord and plug are in great condition and working well. Third lamp purchase and to say I am happy is an understatement!! Description is extremely detailed and accurate. They know when to restore to near 100% and when a bit of patina enhances the look.
