It measures 12" long by 8 1/2" wide. Its original price was 10 cents! Published by the Meredith Publishing Company in Des Moines, Iowa. This magazine is a virtual time capsule of family life in the 1930's. Browse through fashion, hair styles, home goods and see a way of life from a much simpler time, before electronics and the hectic lives we lead now. The cover features a man coming home on Christmas Eve, his arms loaded with presents to a snow covered and decorated house with warm lights glowing in the windows. Packed with amazing articles and ads that will transport you back in time. The magazine is in fairly good condition. There is a soft crease down the middle lengthwise where it was folded in half but doesn't interfere with the reading. There is also some wear on the top and bottom corners where it is bound.
