We've been manufacturing and selling this same model for over 65 years. Formed of galvanized steel rod, the overall length of the arm is approximately 13.5". It is designed to fit residential gate frames constructed of either 1-1/8" OD or 1-3/8" OD tube. Includes one, 5/16" x 2-1/2" carriage bolt with nylon lock nut for secure, standard installation. A longer 5/16-18 galvanized bolt will be required (not included) to fit tube larger than 1-3/8" OD. One, 5/16" hole will need to be drilled clear through the top tube of one gate leaf.
