Item is as described. Originally offered to buy just the adapter for I think 60% of postings asking price. Never got a response. I purchased anyway because I needed the adapter and asked for just that to be shipped as I already have the rod box. Seller shipped both pieces. I will recycle the rod box. I could have saved a bit on shipping otherwise.
