Professionally transferred to CD at 2X from a mono 3-3/4 ips private tape recording of an AM broadcast on WOR radio, New York. Program commentary by Milton Cross, complete with most intermission features. Playing time approximately 3 hours. Cast includes Leontyne Price, Justino Diaz, Jess Thomas, Ezio Flagello and Rosalind Elias. Conducted by Thomas Schippers. Sound quality is good, within the sonic limits of an AM broadcast.
