The plates, measuring 8 1/2", are made of hand-painted ceramic erathenware and feature a scalloped rim and crazing. They are dishwasher safe and can be warmed in the microwave. The plates have a glossy honey and cream finish and a printed back stamp and antique-look scrolling. They were made in Italy using earthenware and pottery production techniques.
