Description
Hello! This is an auction for a complete BACK NUMBER set (and a strip with NO Back Number) --- 6 Plate number coil strips of 5 of THE NEWLY DISCOVERED (IN 2023) Scott #5256, the 2c Meyer Lemons, plate number B22222. These stamps ONLY come from coils of 10,000. These back counting numbers are on the bottom, are black and are upside-down (which appears to be the rule with BCA printings). Please be aware that the position of the back counting number on BCA (Banknote Corporation of America) printings can vary greatly. ALL BACK COUNTING NUMBERS ON THE STRIPS THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE WILL HAVE ONE-HALF or MORE OF THE BACK COUNTING NUMBER POSITIONED OVER THE STAMP. The above scan is a stock scan and may or may not represent the strips that you will receive. The only difference will be the back counting number. The back counting numbers will not be "sequential"--that is, they will not all come from a continuous section of coil--this is due to the drifting of the plate number and the disqualification of some strips where the back counting number does not rest over at least half of the stamp. The above scan, although stock, represents that ALL the back counting numbers fulfill these requirements. The strips are never hinged, are VF and have no flaws. Shipping is FREE! Check out my other PNC5 auctions--- including ERRORS! I'm a 20 year member of the the APS and PNC3. Thanks for looking!
