Description
This bowl’s shape appears on page 11 of a J.I.Co catalog. Jordan’s Import Company (J.I.Co) was an American based import company that imported Italian Murano and Florentine glass to the USA between the mid 1950's - early 1970's. Their Murano pieces came from several furnaces, such as Barbini and Fratelli Toso. This lavender blue bowl shows almost no wear in the bowl, but has a few nicks on the bottom, and minimal wear on the polished base. The silver design and bubbles can be felt in the bowl, and the shadow of the silver design can be seen through the lattimo base layer. As is true with all hand-blown works of art, there could be some imperfections in the glass and the design. Please examine the photos carefully for the details. Measurements are approx. 10” X 8 3/4" X 2 1/2" tall and weighs 2 lb. 11 oz.
