Most often, the screw remains attached even after the pillar rips off. If the old pillar trim is still intact, slide it up to remove. Line up the pillar cover replacement to the B pillar. Slide it down, ensuring that rectangular protrusions on the pillar trim cover align with the corresponding slots. Ensure that the screw slot aligns with the screw hole near the bottom of the B pillar. While the trim is still loose, gradually peel off the protective film on the double-sided foam tape and press the pillar trim firmly in place. Screw the pillar cover applique in place using the previously removed torx screw.
