This is an exquisite 1979 seven piece Satsuma tea set decorated with colorful peacocks and flower designs on an off white colored background with gold flowers and designs on an orange colored border with rich gold trim. Tea pot measures 5 1/2" tall without lid and not including handle x 6 1/2" in length from handle to spout and opening is 2 3/4" in diameter and cups measure 2 7/8" tall x 2 3/8" in diameter. Marked, SATSUMA, Arnart Imports, Inc., 1979. No chips, crack or breaks. As seen in the pictures, there is crazing, otherwise in very good condition. Buy more than one item and I will combined items to save on shipping charges!!!! All items are used unless otherwise stated. Therefore, they are sold strictly AS IS - AS FOUND. This was a sentimental purchase. I have been trying to replace my Mother’s china. The saucers arrived perfectly intact. The packaging was amazing. A cushioned bag inside a box with foam around it, inside another box with foam around it and bubble wrap. Each saucer was individually wrapped and protected with bubble wrap. Thank you so much for going the extra mile. I will order again from your shop. Excellent customer service!

An excellent price for both platters; unfortunately, the large one was not wrapped as well as it could have been and one corner shattered. The seller was very responsive and quickly issued a refund.(peanuts are not a good packing material when the object is not well wrapped because they shift and allow breakage. They should only be used as filler after the object has been thoroughly wrapped in bubble wrap, etc.)
